Instantly recognizable by its big, tonneau-shaped case — it measures 44mm wide by 53.7mm long — the Vanguard collection offers both form and function in a bold way. Its newest Vanguard World Timer GMT displays time in the 24 official time zones, along with a decorative relief-engraved world map on the dial. The raised sapphire crystal is hand polished, and the case is two-tone with brushed titanium and satin-brushed 18K rose gold. The 24-hour time ring uses both slate gray and white on the chapter ring to indicate day and night. Powered by an automatic movement with 170 components and 42 hours of power reserve, the watch offers depth and dimension thanks to the multilayered dial that is guillochéd and lacquered with 20 layers. The large hour markers and the hands are coated with Super-LumiNova for easy reading in the dark. The watch is finished with a hand-sewn rubber-and-alligator strap with orange hand stitching.
