Aimé Leon Dore brings New York City flair to Greece’s North Aegean Coast in the brand’s Fall/Winter 2021 campaign, a delightful video that pays homage to founder Teddy Santis‘s cross-continental roots.

Models young and old take to the streets and sea in ALD’s forthcoming collection, set to drop on August 27. Brand staples such as heavyweight sweatshirts bear markers of Santis’s Queens upbringing while beanies and caps are emblazoned with the logos of the Yankees and the Mets, details sure to delight NYC natives.
Elsewhere, fisherman sweaters, mac jackets, and checked wool trousers give off cool grandpa vibes, all the better paired with ALD’s New Balance 550 or Timberland 3-Eye Lug.

It’s an understated collection that’s fully appreciated up-close. As teased by the label’s Instagram, references to ALD’s DNA — including the brand’s floral logo, coveted dice set and Mulberry Street flagship location — appear as intricate detailing on select pieces.

Fans seem to be pleased with Santis’s latest offerings. On Instagram, one user commented on an image from the new campaign, “Fuck yeah can’t wait to pretend I’m a fisherman in the Grecian countryside.” Another quipped, “preparing to be financially unstable again bc of y’all.”
When the collection drops in-store at 11 a.m. EDT tomorrow, we’re sure ALD’s Nolita outpost — a veritable downtown landmark that frequently serves as fodder for meme account @nolitadirtbag — will be filled to the brim (as much as social distancing allows).
If you’d rather try your luck online, the new season also releases online at 11 a.m. EDT.
