Panoramic ocean views, a pool, ultra-glam decor and … a pink slide? Yes, you can finally live like Barbie in her Malibu Dreamhouse, which is available to rent on Airbnb. In honor of the iconic doll turning 60, one lucky Barbie fan will have the opportunity to stay in the home for just $60 a night. Alert Ken, Skipper and Stacie because three friends will also be able to tag along for the once in a lifetime opportunity. Booking opens at 11:00 a.m. PST on October 23. The stay itself is only available from October 27 to October 29.
Get ready, because guests at the Dreamhouse will be doing a lot more than lounging by the luxurious pink pool. Barbie is an inspirational female figure and the stay will include visits from some other amazing women, according to CNN. Celebrity stylist Jen Atkin, who has worked with Hailey Baldwin, Chrissy Teigen and the Kardashian-Jenner family, will provide makeovers. The beauty guru will have you feeling your most beautiful and glam.
If your stomach starts to rumble, there’s a fun food experience on deck. Malibu Seaside Chef founder, Gina Clarke-Helm, will provide a hands-on cooking class. She’s all about super yummy, fresh and seasonal ingredients to creat an unforgettable dinign experience, according to her website.
Barbie loves to get her sweat on — and guests of her home will too. Fencing champion Ibtihaj Muhammad will offer one-on-one fencing lessons to teach some of her best moves. Guests will also receive a special behind the scenes tour of the Columbia Memorial Space Center by pilot and aerospace engineer Jill Meyers. Basically, it will be a whirlwind two days.
The house is as spectacular as it looks. “Located in the heart of Malibu, [the] Dreamhouse has three floors with ocean views and open spaces for friends and family to hang,” the Airbnb listing explains. It’s the perfect place to eat outside, watch a movie (there’s a personal indoor cinema) or make “s’mores under the stars.”
The visit will be a blast, but it will also benefit a good cause. “To celebrate this once in a lifetime stay, Airbnb will make a donation to one of the charities involved in The Barbie Dream Gap Project on your behalf,” the listing notes.
