People gather from the front door of the gallery to the end of the street, a live DJ sets the mood with cool and upbeat music, and synergy of color surrounds the room. This was the experience of MASH Gallery’s latest exhibition, Visual-O. A Los Angeles summer exhibition organized by HalehMashian, MASH Gallery founder, brought art enthusiasts together to experience this “Visual Orgasm.”
The concept of the Visual-O exhibit begins with Mashian’s definition of orgasm being that “It starts with the physical and becomes an expression of the divine.” Mashian’s signature in art is her abstract representations of color theory, compositional form, and the use of positive and negative space. With these skills, the Visual O experience was crafted into a perfect use of opposites in movement and vibrance.
Apart from Mashian’s talents, other brilliant artists such as Andy Moses, Chase Langford, Kenny Nguyen, Lisa Beth Older, Lisa Schulte, Robert Standish, Michelle Benoit, and John Monn were featured. The works together created an experience that displayed each artist’s perception and interpretation of the theme: Visual O.
Beyond the art, VIP guests including Hollywood’s acclaimed actor Tara Reid as well as Kerry Rhodes, Terrell Owens, Tyrone DuBose, Caitlin O’Connor, Alexis Knapp, and Jaylen Moore were able to attend the lively red carpet for a fun photo op.
Guests were greeted with an array of complimentary beverages made readily available including Just Enough Wine’s top-selling, delicious canned 2019 Brut Bubbles, and 2019 Rosé and a DJ played cool and upbeat music throughout the event.
On show until October 2nd for people of all ages and backgrounds, MASH Gallery’s Visual Ois the place to experience a whole new set of communities in a time where people can begin to socialize and express creativity.
MASH Gallery has once again provided an environment for creative people to revel in a space filled with enchanting artwork. This “orgasmic” presentation of vibrant colors and diverse textures was a hit among celebrities and Los Angeles locals alike.
