Next week, on August 7th at 7 p.m., Halifax will host its Rosé Around the World wine and food pairing event. The Hoboken restaurant, located right in the heart of the W Hotel on 225 River Street, is known for its locally-sourced land and sea menu. This time, Chef Seadon Shouse will pair Halifax-inspired small plates with five different styles of rosé from around the globe. Each rosé will be hand-picked by Beverage Director (and General Manager) Carlos Arteaga. The list of rosé includes libations from Spain, France, Italy and California. And we can’t think of a better way to spend our midweek evening than with this unique wine and food pairing while overlooking the New York City skyline. Tickets start at $39 per person on the restaurant’s website. As always, the cuisine at Halifax is made in-house and sourced locally. Like the day owner Michael Barry opened the restaurant’s doors, the seafood at Halifax is Marine Stewardship Council-Certified and their meat, dairy products, and herbs range from vendors and purveyors in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. WHO: Halifax, the acclaimed New Jersey restaurant along the Hudson River in Hoboken, and rosés from California, Spain, France, and Italy.
WHEN: Wednesday, August 7th at 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
WHERE: Halifax, 225 River Street, Hoboken 07030
