Farfetch’s Positively Conscious scheme is a frontrunner in retailers’ efforts to make the world of style even a touch more sustainable. Farfetch developed a set of independently backed criteria to qualify Conscious products on the platform which leverage established and widely recognized standards and certifications on sustainable materials and business practices in fashion.
In the criteria development process, Farfetch engaged the expertise of some leading organizations (including Good on You and Sigillum Knowledge Solutions) to provide critical recommendations on the standards and certifications selected.
Farfetch items are only given the Conscious label after the sustainability team asses five key parameters: material composition, material production processes, whole product certification, pre-owned nature, and the brand rating on Good on You. If a product matches one or more of these categories, it’s given the Positively Conscious go-ahead.
The Positively Conscious category stretches further than you might imagine, encompassing all sides of the wardrobe so you’ve no excuse to not do your bit. Below, we’ve rounded up some of the best Conscious jewelry in the category.
An intricate depiction of Buddha sits front and center of this unimposing pendant with a cubic zirconia embellishment.
All Blues’ offering is characterized by a pared-back aesthetic which allows details like the doubled half of this chain to shine.
Bleue Burnham’s unmistakable pieces feature colorful stones that complement each other, standing out from the sterling silver backdrop.
The world of bracelets is dominated by chain links. If you’re looking to venture off the beaten track without getting too experimental, this slim, understated cuff is a nice place to start.
Plated with 24kt gold, the Il Leone necklace by Alighieri appears as an ancient coin detailed with a lion.
Black and gold is one of the undisputed champions of color combinations and this Onyx ring is proof.
We’re always in favor of switching up your links. If everyone else is going for curb links, opt for something like this simple box chain by John Hardy.
This All Blues earring is just the right amount of pop. It’s chunky but, devoid of all details, it doesn’t steal any attention away from your carefully curated fit.
