How To Give Yourself a Facial Massage

Facial massage has been proven to de-puff your skin and promote circulation, which boosts blood flow to vessels that can build up with waste that causes dull skin and fine lines. Who wants that? Facial massage not only refreshes blood cells and removes that waste but also feels fantastic and adds just two to four minutes to your skincare routine. I think facial massage is a great, easy way to get the look of glowy, firm skin.

I like to incorporate facial massages into both my morning and evening routine. There are many ways to perform facial massages, but the main takeaways to note are to always start with clean hands (obviously) and always move upward and outward, from the center of the face. 

  1. Squeeze a dime-sized portion of product into your palms. I like to use the Caviar & Cashmere Skincare HydraLuxe Creme. Rub the product to evenly distribute over your hands and fingertips and warm it up. When you warm up your product, it breaks it down and activates the ingredients.
  2. Press your fingers between brows and slide up your forehead, repeating several times to cover the entire area.
  3. Then, massage your fingertips from the center of your face out past your cheeks and to your ears and your jaw.
  4. Drop one level lower and repeat the same sliding, up-and-out motion across your entire jawline.
  5. Finish with your neck. Gently use vertical strokes from the collarbone upward.
