Hyatt Hotels Corporation has overhauled its loyalty program with the launch of “World of Hyatt.” Set to roll out in 2017, World of Hyatt will replace the existing program, Hyatt Gold Passport. In the updated version, members fall into one of three tiers: Discoverist, Explorist and Globalist.
Points can be redeemed for dining and spa experiences, a free night’s stay at five Hyatt brands, and suite upgrades for elite members. World of Hyatt launches March 1, 2017.
In a JD Power report this year ranking the most popular hotel loyalty and rewards programs among travelers, Hilton’s HHonors took the top spot, followed by Marriott Rewards and IHG Rewards. Hyatt Gold Passport ranked ninth.
