Ah, there’s nothing quite like your favorite ice cream on a blistering summer day, especially when much of the United States is currently in the midst of a heat wave. The summertime treat serves as the inspiration for Bad Bunny‘s next adidas collaboration, as revealed this week by @cuong0315.
The seasonal theme is carried out on the iconic ZX 8000, as the Puerto Rican rapper is seemingly taking a break from working on the Forum Low — although he still has (at least) one more colorway on the way. The “Ice Cream” ZX 8000 boasts a multicolored upper crafted from nylon and leather, with suede overlays. While various shades come together throughout, it’s the drip effect — a nod to ice creaming melting in the summer heat — that truly makes this pair stand out.
From the colorway it’s hard to tell Bad Bunny’s favorite ice cream flavor, but we fully expect the ever-popular musician to delve into his guilty pleasure as the collaboration becomes officially unveiled. As it stands, adidas has yet to speak on the ZX 8000 release, likely because a third Bad Bunny x adidas Forum Low is launching beforehand.
While we wait for more info on the “Ice Cream” iteration, you can find out how adidas has resurrected the Forum Low and shop the best summer colorways here.
