In Need of a Quick Bite Over the Holidays? Check Out the Fast-Food Chains Open on Christmas 2021

Although our homes are filled with cheer on Christmas Day, most sit-down restaurants will be closed as families gather to celebrate the holiday especially amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Luckily, several fast-food chains are here to get you a cheeseburger and fries so you can return with a warm meal before your aunt realizes you left in the middle of her story. Whether you want to devour your favorite guilty pleasure in the morning, afternoon or evening, there are a handful of places that will be open for business.

If you’re a lover of Chick-Fil-A, you’ll have to make other arrangements this year. The fast-food chain recently announced it will be closed on Xmas.

“Craving chicken for Christmas? Be sure to order a reheatable Chick-fil-A Catering tray ahead of Saturday, December 25,” the chain wrote in an update on their official website ahead of the holiday. “Chick-fil-A restaurants will be closed on Christmas Day so our restaurant teams can spend time with family and friends.”

Fortunately, they will reopen on December 27. And if you are craving something else, there are some more options that will allow you to skip the cooking on Christmas.

“IHOP will be open on Christmas this year, but guests should check with their local IHOP as hours will vary by location,” a company spokesperson told Parade.com

Perhaps you’re a coffee enthusiast? Then, you’re also in luck considering Starbucks will also be open, which can benefit those looking for a very last-minute stocking stuffer before seeing their loved ones

“Ever since that very first holiday, Christmas Blend has become a cherished part of the holidays, whether it’s shared around a table or given as a perfectly wrapped gift,” the coffee chain teased about one of their best-sellers. “Its legacy continues with this year’s vintage, created by Starbucks team of expert coffee developers to honor its rich heritage while bringing in new coffees from Latin America, Africa and Indonesia and considering brewing methods such as iced and cold brew.”
