India’s Largest Mural

In December last year, Bombay-based artist Ranjit Dahiya scaled new heights when he painted India’s largest wall mural on the MTNL building in Mumbai. His bold painting, composed mainly of bright yelllow, featured a large portrait of the Dadasaheb Phalke (also known as the father of Indian cinema). Collaborating with indian artists Yantr, Munir Cukhari and Nilesh Kharade, he painted this 120 by 150 foot large wall mural. This initiative was also part of the st+art Mumbai festival, a street art festival that celebrates the works of local artists.

The third edition ofthe festival has now started and is taking place in New Delhi.
