The Istanbul Film Festival consists of four major film awards.
Each year the festival attracts renowned directors, actors and actresses, such as Bernardo Bertolucci, John Malkovich and Sophia Loren. Over 200 films across 20 different categories will be screened. Attendees can also take advantage of film masterclasses, workshops and panel discussions.
Last year’s main prize in the international competition, The Golden Tulip, was awarded to “The Ornithologist”, a Portuguese film directed by João Pedro Rodrigues.
