When it comes to Iskra Lawrence and Philip Payne‘s relationship, the couple are all about trying new things, including trying her breast milk. The model’s baby daddy took to his Instagram Story on Thursday, April 23, to reveal he tried some and was pleasantly surprised by the taste.
“New parent chronicles,” Philip began. “One day, Iskra was like, ‘Yo, I want you to taste my breast milk. I was like, ‘Baby, I’m not sucking your boob to get the breast milk’ and she was like, ‘No, weirdo. You can drink it out of a cup.’ So I end up drinking some … It wasn’t that bad. Me and little one might be fighting over the next feed.” LOL. Well, we’re glad the newly minted parents are enjoying new experiences together.
However, Philip didn’t seem to be a big fan of the aftertaste. “The second part was kind of weird,” he admitted. “I just figured you’re gonna do it, you’re gonna do it.”
It hasn’t been long since Iskra, 29, told the world about her bundle of joy’s arrival. The mom of one announced the birth of her baby on April 19. “I’m beyond overwhelmed to tell you baby P has arrived and me and daddy @philipapayne are taking time to be in awe that we are now a family of three,” she wrote on Instagram. “When I’m ready, I cannot wait to share more details with you all on my home birth and this tiny human that we love beyond measure. I cannot thank you all enough [for all] of the love and support through this journey.”
Fortunately, the blonde beauty seems to be adjusting well to parenthood — especially since she was feeling nervous, which she got candid about when she revealed the pregnancy was unplanned. Luckily, having Philip’s support helped.
“We have been very honest with each other about our fears and what we are scared of, which is great, but just sort of feeling and having this connection,” Iskra exclusively told Life & Style. “Which is just hard to explain, unless you’ve experienced it … You love something that is existing inside of you that you haven’t met yet, and it’s just so special. It’s like, ‘Oh my goodness, I love you unconditionally already, whoever you are, whoever you choose to be.'”
What a great mama!
