It’s a ‘Sweet Baby Boy’! Lauren Conrad Announces Birth of Her Second Son With Husband William Tell

Baby No. 2 has officially arrived and — surprise! — he’s a boy. Lauren Conrad kept fans guessing about her pregnancy, but on Wednesday, October 9, she revealed that she’d officially welcomed her second son with husband William Tell. “Our sweet baby boy, Charlie Wolf Tell, has arrived!” she shared on Instagram, posting a watercolor painting of her family. The illustration showed the parents of two posing with their older son, Liam James, and two dogs.

The artwork announcement has become something of a tradition for the former reality show star. Back when Liam was born in 2017, the famous mama shared a needlepoint of her then-family of five. “The Tells. And then there were five,” the stitches read. In 2015, the couple shared another needlepoint of them with their two dogs in lieu of a holiday card. “Merry Christmas! The Tells,” Lauren, 33, captioned the post.

When the parents announced that they were expecting baby No. 2, Lauren shared a photo of herself cradling her baby bump. “It’s been hard to keep this one to myself! Very excited to share that our family will be getting a little bigger this year, ” she wrote in April. As her pregnancy progressed, she decided to keep the baby’s gender to herself, but insiders revealed that she was secretly hoping for a daughter.

“She thinks it would be so cute for Liam to have a sister to play with,” an insider exclusively revealed to Life & Style. “[She] would love nothing more than to dress a daughter in pretty outfits.” But now that Charlie’s arrived — and he’s a boy — we’re sure that Lauren still feels as blessed and excited as ever. “She wouldn’t be disappointed if the baby’s a boy,” the source said at the time. “She’s just thrilled to be pregnant again!”

As the baby’s due date inched close, the mom kept herself busy running around the house and getting everything ready — but she made time to relax by the pool, too. In September, after a friend snapped a shot of her heading in from a swim, she let fans know that she was “currently somewhere between, ‘Get this baby out of me!’ and, ‘Stay in there kid! We still have so much prep to do!'”
