Jaclyn Hill Asks Trolls to ‘Stop Body-Shaming’ After She ‘Gained Weight’: ‘I Don’t Want to Log Onto Social Media’

Haters gonna hate! Jaclyn Hill is over the online trolls criticizing her after gaining weight and on, Sunday, September 8, she made it very clear that she’s done tolerating negativity.

Someone tweeted the makeup guru a recent photo of herself in which her face appears to look fuller. “What happened to your face?” read the message. The 29-year-old fired back with the best response. “I GAINED WEIGHT!!!!” she wrote in a quote-tweet. “Can you guys please stop body shaming? I don’t even want to log onto social media recently because all I see is comments about looking ‘fat’ and accusing me of getting fillers. Dear God! Thank the lord I have a good support system and self-confidence.” You tell ’em girl!

This wasn’t the first time Jaclyn has had to address her change in appearance. On July 31, the YouTuber shared a photo of herself lying beside a bunch of snacks. “Out of town on business. Soon as I wrap up meetings, I am in sweatpants and in bed with my blanket and snacks within the hour where my homebodies at?!?” she captioned the relatable pic. Someone decided to leave a negative comment. “Well, those snacks would explain those growing cheeks,” they wrote. “Yep! I’ve gained 15 pounds in one month. That’s where I’m at,” the brunette beauty replied. We stan a queen who isn’t afraid to live her truth!

It seems like Jaclyn may be taking from Demi Lovato, who recently shared an unedited bikini photo of herself praising her imperfections. On September 6, Jaclyn shared a screenshot of Demi’s pic, and wrote, “So inspired by her. Her post was so beautiful! A true role model and icon.”

In Demi’s post, she got candid about body image and celebrated herself in her true form. “This is my biggest fear. A photo of me in a bikini unedited. And guess what, it’s CELLULIT!!!!” she captioned the Insta snap shared on September 5. “I’m just literally sooooo tired of being ashamed of my body, editing it (yes the other bikini pics were edited — and I hate that I did that but it’s the truth) so that others think I’m THEIR idea of what beautiful is, but it’s just not me. This is what I got.”
