Earlier this month, adidas confirmed rumors by announcing its renewed partnership with Jeremy Scott. While not much has been said since, today we get our first look at what is expected to be Scott’s first new design with the brand.
Anyone familiar with Jeremy Scott x adidas knows the designer does his best work on the Forum Hi. Taking this into consideration, it’s only fitting that Scott’s debut release since rejoining the brand include the iconic silhouette. Yet while the Forum collab certainly makes sense, it’s not quite what we’re accustomed to getting from Jeremy Scott x adidas. In the past, the designer has applied wings to the sneaker and even teddy bears on the tongue. So in comparison, this new batch of Forum Hi’s is considerably tame. That’s not to say the overall look of the new collection isn’t enticing, because it undoubtedly is.
Scott’s forthcoming Forum Hi’s boast glossy, monochromatic uppers, with the silhouette’s customary strap at the ankle. The most playful element appears on the tongue, where the designer’s face is printed on the branding tag. Optioned in orange, green, blue, and black, the Forums are then marked with the signature three stripes on the side, right next to the trefoil logo. Each pair is made complete with tonal laces.
After having worked with the brand from 2003 to 2015, Jeremy Scott resigned with adidas this year. His line was one of adidas’ most celebrated of the 2000s and 2010s, as the brand seemingly looks to rekindle the magic of years ago. While we don’t know yet when Scott’s new Forum Hi collection will arrive, adidas has already said new products are scheduled to release this fall, leading many to believe the Forums will be available then. As always, be sure to check back with us for further info, and in the meantime, you can shop the best summer colorways of the resurrected adidas Forum here.
