Eyes on the prize. Julianne Hough revealed that she’s “more excited than ever” about what 2020 will bring, amid split rumors involving the star and her husband, Brooks Laich.
The Dancing With the Stars alum shared a photo of herself on Wednesday, January 8, from when she hosted NBC’s New Year’s Eve event along with a sentimental message.
“Some of my favorite NYE moments,” the performer began her caption. “We’re only a week into 2020 and I am more excited than ever about what this year will bring! After our first stop on #oprahs2020visiontour last weekend, I feel like I’ve already reached my wildest dreams … and it’s just the beginning!”
“Wishing everyone an expansive, healthy, and transformative New Year,” the 31-year-old continued.
As fans may recall, the Footloose star also took the stage for a captivating performance, marking her highly anticipated return to singing. “I literally felt the old being released and an allowance of space for the new year to begin,” she wrote at the time. “To be able to start the new year with this performance after taking a break from music for the past 10 years felt like a dream come true. I feel grateful. I feel alive. I feel open and READY for all that 2020 has in store. Bring it on.”
Even though several fans were blown away by her musical prowess, some also noticed that she hasn’t been wearing her wedding ring on a few occasions. Now, people have been wondering if they are still going strong, especially since Brooks, 36, was spotted wearing his wedding ring on January 2 in an exercise video.
“Julianne and Brooks want different things in life,” a source previously told Life & Style exclusively, noting how they are having issues communicating. “They’ve had so many ups and downs, but they also have very different ways of dealing with them.”
The Grease: Live actress and her athlete beau tied the knot back in 2017 during a romantic ceremony in front of friends and family, just outside of Idaho.
These days, something has changed between them, another insider tells Life & Style. “Even some of their closest friends are questioning how long it will last.”
