The state of travel is currently in flux, but RIMOWA‘s new drop gives jet-setters a reason to start planning a post-pandemic trip.
Traveling with a RIMOWA is already a flex, but the luggage label is upping the ante with two new colorways: “Flamingo” and “Azure.”
The former mimics the reddish-pink hue of its avian namesake while the latter is a tranquil gray-blue. Both shades are applied to a range of RIMOWA signatures, including the brand’s Cabin and Check-in suitcases, iPhone case, and Personal Crossbody bag.
For those less enchanted by RIMOWA’s polycarbonate hardshell offerings, the soft-sided Never Still backpack and tote bag are also available in the new colors.
RIMOWA has been around since 1898, but the label didn’t transcend its categorization as a luggage brand and become a major player in luxury fashion until 2016, when it was acquired by blue chip conglomerate LVMH.
In 2018, RIMOWA collaborated with Supreme and Off-White™, cementing its status as a leader in fashion and design.
With these heavyweight co-signs, the luggage giant properly entered the hype machine.
RIMOWA subsequently linked up with two of fashion and art’s biggest and buzziest collaborators: Dior and Daniel Arsham.

Just last month, RIMOWA debuted a $1,720 aluminum champagne bottle case, perfect for an equally pricey Dom Perignon vintage.
Via covetable collabs, Instagram marketing, IRL activations (its passport studio, located at its SoHo store, is a hotspot for tourists and locals alike), and big-name celebrity ambassadors like Rihanna, LeBron, and Patti Smith, RIMOWA has maneuvered its way to the forefront of luxury.
