We see you! Bachelorette alum Kaitlyn Bristowe teased her Dancing With the Stars week 1 performance by dropping a major clue — (part of) her costume.
“It’s practicing in a skirt day,” the season 11 star, 35, said on her Instagram Story on Thursday, September 3, while walking around the dance studio. The Spade and Sparrows founder was rocking a glittery red and black skirt with sparkly fringe.
“About to dance in heels — we call them big girl shoes around here — for the first time. Oh boy,” she said in a second video as she showed off her professional heeled dance shoes that are typical for the ballroom.
The shape and fringe on her skirt suggest that she’ll be doing a quick, sexy number such as the cha cha, samba or tango to kick off season 29. Although the professional partners of the celebrities won’t be revealed until the season premiere on September 14, it’s rumored the Bachelor Nation babe is competing with Artem Chigvintsev.
If you’re having flashbacks over her outfit, it’s because Bachelorette star Hannah Brown kicked off the competition last season in a sassy red dress with partner Alan Bersten. She danced the cha cha to Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” in a similar costume with tons of fringe.
The season 15 babe, 25, went on to win the season, so hopefully, Kaitlyn’s costume is a good omen. However, the “Off the Vine” podcast host doesn’t necessarily need luck with how intense she’s been training her mind and body to prepare for DWTS.
“I’ve been working so hard on my mental and physical health over the last 14 weeks,” the former leading lady said via Instagram along with a photo of her stunning body transformation on August 9. “My body at 35 feels strong and ready to dance. All I keep saying is, ‘Please don’t get sent home night one after all this work.’ Hahah, but I’m glad I have had the motivation to work toward something.”
She continued, “I always think of myself as a hard worker, who also plays hard, and I’m just ready for this next chapter!!! You guys know I never post body pics, but I’m proud.”
Go get ‘em, Kaitlyn!
