Pursuing her passion. Victoria Villarroel has reportedly quit her job as Kylie Jenner’s assistant to become an influencer on Instagram. The brunette beauty already has a massive following of almost a million people on the social media platform, and she’s hoping to expand her brand even more in 2020.
“Victoria wants to be an influencer in her own right and is focusing on that now,” a source tells Us Weekly. Luckily, the makeup maven couldn’t be more supportive about her pal’s new career path.
Kylie and her former assistant, 27, are still close friends, the insider said. “She doesn’t have any bad feelings about Victoria going off to do her own thing.”
The socialite even took to Instagram with a new photo featuring Kylie, 22, on Monday, January 13, proving there’s no bad blood between them after she left the gig. Kylie also returned the love by sharing her own pics and clips from their “girls night,” and Victoria commented, “too much fun.”
In recent months, Victoria has posted several bikini-clad snaps from her exotic vacations. She’s also shared some photos showing off the self-tanner she uses, so there’s a chance that fans will be getting more beauty-related content going forward.
Back in 2016, Victoria revealed what it was like working for the reality star-turned-billionaire in a video. “It’s work, but it’s fun,” she shared, noting how she crossed paths with Kylie while working at Kris Jenner’s company, Jenner Communications.
“I would see Kylie there all the time,” Victoria said. “I remember it’s funny. I saved my number in her phone as ‘Victoria the Princess’ … like I was very confident back then. Fast forward to now, like a year ago, I came back and I was looking for a job and she needed someone so they just took me.”
As we previously reported, Kylie has been spending more time with the people she trusts the most in the wake of her public fallout with her former BFF, Jordyn Woods. “She keeps those in her intimate circle very close,” a source told Us Weekly in July 2019. “Kylie’s friends support her by being faithful and trustworthy.”
