The Huracan LP 610-4 Spyder will be making its global debut on Tuesday.
As the drop-top sibling to the company’s existing V10 ‘entry level’ compact supercar coupé, the Spyder is expected to offer almost identical levels of performance.
So that means over 600bhp, a top speed in excess of 320km/h and a 0-100km/h time of around 3 seconds. However, with the roof down it will all feel a lot more dramatic and exclusive.
The car will be lining up alongside Ferrari’s latest offering in the segment, the 488GTS, itself a drop-top and also making its global debut at Frankfurt. Then there’s a possibility that McLaren may also be prepping a convertible version of its latest affordable supercar, the 570S, for the same event.
It won’t take long to find out as the first press day for this year’s Frankfurt motor show is scheduled for September 15.
