Lantern at Home with Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens

In lieu of hosting its Lantern Festival this year, the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens in Delray Beach is encouraging everyone to make their own toro nagashi (“flowing lanterns”) and post images on Instagram with #lanternathome. The lantern-at-home kits are available at the museum store for $20 and include a wood base, blank wishing paper,  and a tea light. The Morikami will review all images submitted by October 12 and select 10 winners to receive admission for two to the 2021 Lantern Festival.
