Bonsoir! I’m back from a week of touring the Côte d’Azur, four destinations in seven days with lots of memories and moments to share with you guys so keep on coming back. The first destination was Monte Carlo, we arrived on Saturday to be welcomed by rain which gave us a day to relax before the craziness of the week ahead.
We checked in at the Le Méridien Beach Plaza Monte Carlo hotel which is the only hotel with a private beach. Thanks to the professional Reservations team we got an upgrade to the 8th floor which is for SPG (Starwood Preferred Guests) guests. The room was very spacious with an exceptional view. You can even hear the sound of the sea from inside the bedroom. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit Monte Carlo, and the location is excellent as you can easily walk around the center! After travelling from early morning hours we were quite hungry so decided to have lunch at the L’Intempo Restaurant where we were served by a Greek called Paul (Pavlos). A very friendly and helpful gentleman.
The hotel also features an indoor swimming pool which we tried out in the evening; it also has a great gym and sauna which is complimentary for the guests! As we were staying in this hotel over Easter, we received a beautiful chocolate from the Management!
The Room Service is great and if you get hungry at night after partying at the Jimmy’z Club (which you can actually see from the hotel) don’t hesitate to order. We got ourselves a burger and club sandwich, delicious! A great hotel and a very memorable experience. Thank you!
