From what she hates the most in the industry to her hobbies and dreams, actor Ruhi Chaturvedi shares it all with us in a candid interview. Excerpts:
How come a good looking and a successful girl like you is still single?
I guess being in a relationship is not about how good you look. It’s about how well you connect with someone. I haven’t found that connection to date. (smiles)
Don’t you feel the need to share your life with someone?
Yes, I do feel the need. But at the same time, I want to share it with someone who understands me well.
While focussing on career, personal life takes a back seat. Do you agree or disagree?
I completely disagree. If you are smart enough, you can easily manage your personal and professional life at the same time.
Will you date a person from the industry or not? Express your views.
I would love to; because he will understand how this industry works and help me make better decisions.
What kind of person would you like to date?
I wish to date someone who is adventurous and at the same time understands the importance of being a family man. Who can handle me in my good times and bad times too. Someone who knows that it’s not only a woman’s duty to make a relationship work.
How would you define yourself?
Someone who loves to be a better version of herself.
The proudest moment of your life?
When I won the Miss India pageant.

I always wanted to be a Miss India. While my parents wanted to see me act.
Where do you see yourself 10 years down the line?
(Winks) Being a household name.
What activities do you indulge in when not working?
I’m more of a homebound person. I prefer spending time with my family or my younger brother Sky Chaturvedi (who is a dog). He is my ultimate stress buster.
What does sex appeal mean to you?
For me, it is all about having an intelligent conversation with someone.
Your dream role?
Vidya Balan in Kahaani.
What is so good and bad about your profession?
The worst is that no one is punctual, while the best is you get to learn new things every day.

Anything that gives me a rush is romantic. For instance, skydiving, rafting, and trekking
One thing that people don’t know about you?
