Over the course of their relationship, Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse have attended awards shows together, however for the 2020 SAG Awards, which took place on Sunday, January 19, the 23-year-old Hustlers star went solo.
So why didn’t Cole, 27, accompany his girlfriend on her big night? Well, it looks like he was busy hanging with a dog! The Riverdale star took to his Instagram Story that same night to post a selfie with an adorable bulldog. On a serious note, although Cole was absent, we’re sure he’s proud as ever of the blonde beauty.
Speaking of beauty, Lili looked absolutely stunning as ever in a black and white Miu Miu dress. The gown is the perfect mix of girly and chic, which suits Lili, who can rock anything.
Though Lili didn’t personally receive any nominations at the SAG Awards, she has a lot going for her this year. In May, she’s releasing a poetry book called Swimming Lessons, which was inspired by many people in her life.
“To be honest, a lot … and I’m kind of calling the book a work of fiction more so than just, ‘This is all of my life and my experiences’ because to be honest, I find a lot of inspiration from other people and people that I don’t know and music, especially,” she exclusively divulged to Life & Style in October 2019.
Lili revealed she took from not only personal experiences for this collection of writing but also from those around her. “You know, I can create a scenario in my head from a mood, so it kind of just goes on a journey from there,” she continued. “It’s not necessarily all experiences that I’ve been through. It just sort of is a culmination of feelings turned into words if that makes sense and it’s not necessarily an experience. It’s more so just an atmospheric mood.”
We hope to see some poems related to Cole. After all, the couple has been through their fair share of ups and downs after their brief breakup in the summer of 2019, but thankfully they worked things out and are still each other’s muses!
