Canvas, the outdoor art show hosted by Nicole Henry Fine Art gallery, just came to a close, but the art continues to echo throughout West Palm Beach. The amazing, large-scale murals are still on display, and Henry has already secured one participating artist for Canvas 2016.
Miami native Amanda Valdes is no stranger to Palm Beach County. Her romantically dark portraits can be seen on Howley’s restaurant in West Palm Beach and on countless buildings in Northwood and beyond. On November 13, Valdes made her mark on Canvas when she painted a garage door as part of the Canvas Local Showdown. Attendees declared Valdes’ mural to be the best out of the seven participating pieces—winning her instant street cred on the SoFlo art scene as well as a spot on the 2016 Canvas roster.
View Valdes’ amazing mural, entitled Viriditas, below and go check out Canvas 2015, currently on display in downtown West Palm Beach. More of Valdes’ work can be seen at ArtHouse 429 in Northwood.
