Visiting the Sky Gardens in London last week with Monikh and Holly was everything I expected it to be, as you can see from these photos we shot over brunch. Situated on the 35th floor the gardens made for a spectacular viewing room looking out to the center of London. The glass and steel structure made the perfect backdrop for these shots, as well as the snippets of greenery from the gardens, not to mention the incredible amount of light equaling little to no editing. (Us bloggers dream!)
It goes without saying that I opted to dress in black and white for a reason, I wanted my outfit to be about the shapes and cleanliness of the garments especially in such an architecural building. As soon as I put this combination on I knew I'd love the layering-The shape of an oversized boyfriend coat swell as this black fisherman stitch knit against the length of the ivory longline cami sat perfectly together breaking up the harshness of all black. (Old skool leather Vans were a must for a day gazing around London!)
What do you think of these images? Have you visited the Sky Gardens yet?
