Swiss watchmaker Longines has longstanding links with the equestrian world, demonstrated regularly thanks to international events and watches such as the Dolce Vita and the Equestrian Lepine. Earlier this month, the Saint-Imier-based brand celebrated this connection with the inaugural Longines Hat Party, which also introduced fans to new additions to the Longines Equestrian Collection. Held at the Marina Bay Sands Skating Rink, the event saw guests decked out in their race day best.
Watches in the collection feature delicate pieces that replicate the rectangular buckle that can be found on the show bridle of the only Swiss horse breed called the Franches-Montagnes. Designed for with the female equestrian sports lover in mind, the new additions to the collection mirror the specific qualities of this Swiss breed.
As you might have guessed, at the Longines Hat Party, the ladies donned fancy hats, fascinators and elegant dresses to celebrate the brand. The Arch, Stirrup and Buckle lines of the Equestrian Collection were not only on display but also available for invited guests to try on. To truly embrace the equestrian spirit of the event, Longines official partner Heads of State Millinery was on hand to display their creations that were specially crafted for the Longines Hat Party.
The Longines Equestrian Collection is now available in Longines boutiques island-wide. For more information, visit Longines.
