Back by popular demand, Lox Farms’ Fresh Rx dinner series returns for its annual appearance. As a collaborative byproduct between Jupiter Medical Center and the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties, the Fresh Rx program allows JMC physicians to write prescriptions for fresh produce to patients who need to follow a healthier diet. Those with a Fresh Rx script will receive a complimentary bag of produce on a weekly basis, featuring products grown in the nutrient-rich soil of Lox Farms.
Similar to last season, the dinner series will feature local chefs working with Lox Farms’ produce and will raise funds for the Fresh Rx program. Chefs Javier and Anthony from Renato’s will kick-off the series November 17, Isabel’s Kitchen & Pizza will host a family-friendly brunch December 8, and culinary masterminds from The Colony Hotel will take over January 4.
Cuisine from each event will be carefully paired with cocktails by healthy bartender Jules Aron. The mixologist’s seasonal selections include drinks such as a pumpkin old fashioned, the Orchard Spice, and the Green Dragon.
