Walk’N’Dior Sneakers
The Walk’n’Dior sneakers are part of Maria Grazia Chiuri’s Cruise 2022 for Dior and have been reworked multiple times season after season. The new iterations for Cruise 2022 all feature the Dior Etoile motif, which pays homage to Monsieur Dior’s lucky star. The star-pattern conspicuously occupies the collar of the hi-top sneakers while the “Christian Dior” branding can be seen across the heels.
The sneakers appear in three different colourways: tone-on-tone white, white and gold and white and blue. A mixture of leather and technical-fabric informs the material of the shoes.
The Walk’N’Dior sneakers are available on Dior’s website here.
Louis Vuitton Runner Tatic SneakerLouis Vuitton Runner Tatic Sneaker
Making its first foray during the French luxury brand’s Spring/Summer 2022 collection under the late Virgil Abloh, the Runner Tatic sneaker is a combination of technical aspects of running shoes from the 90s with Louis Vuitton signatures such as the LV logos and Monogram Flowers.
The latest silhouette comes in five colourways: blue, mocha, white, black and green. Other highlights include the technologically advanced soles, which are crafted from foam-injected cushioning for maximum comfort when worn. As for the materials, the sneakers comprise a mix of materials such as mesh textile and suede calf leather.
If you want to grab a pair of these luxury sneakers for yourself, they’ll be available starting January 20.
Prada x Adidas Forum Sneaker
One of the most anticipated releases of the new year, the collaboration between Prada and Adidas has set the bar for what is considered luxury sportswear. The co-branded Forum collection takes the best elements of each brand and flawlessly blends it together for a super-charged, creative and wearable collection.
The standout has to be the sneakers, which are either in an all-white or all-black colourway. A detachable pouch made from Re-Nylon is fitted with the signature Prada triangle and the monikers of both brands are found on different parts of the sneakers — heels, tongue and inner soles.
The Forum collection is now available in Prada boutiques and online at prada.com and adidas.com/prada.
Balenciaga Phantom
The brand’s latest drop comes after its highly successful releases such as the Triple-S, Track and Speed. Phantom is what Demna has named the new sneakers and it features a perforated upper and chunky soles. The brand was known to have started the wave of “Ugly Sneakers” back in 2017 and the aesthetic follows till today but it is now more refined.
Calling to mind vintage running shoes from other bigger players in the sportswear circuit like New Balance and ASICS, the Phantom is made for today’s sartorially-conscious fitness junkies. It has five colourways: yellow, white, washed white, black and grey.
The Phantom is available for purchase on Balenciaga’s website.
Gucci Hacker Project Triple S Sneaker
No sneaker lists will be completed without the pair that took the fashion world by storm: The Hacker Project Triple S Sneaker. Alessandro Michele infused iconic Balenciaga silhouettes with Gucci’s unique codes and the culmination stunned many. The already popular Triple S Sneaker has now been fashioned with Gucci’s signature GG Supreme canvas alongside an all-over Balenciaga print.
