Heights.

Having a home-cooked meal by Beppe in bed with a nice bottle of red wine, and falling asleep (without brushing my teeth) in his arms.
Which phrase do you most overuse?
宝贝 which means precious — I call all my boys that.
Your most marked characteristic?
Greediness for good food.
What do you most value in friends?
Honesty.
Who are your real-life heroes?
My mum who taught me no matter what, love for your children is larger than life. And my godma who always puts others before herself.
Favourite hero of fiction?
Sun Wukong aka the Monkey King.
Any person you despise?
Donald Trump.
Your pet peeve?
Leaving unfinished delicious food on a plate.
What’s the world’s biggest con?
Casinos, they always win.
What would your last meal comprise?
Beppe’s pasta with uni and bottarga, suckling pig from Paradise Teochew, bak chor mee from Tai Hwa with extra lard, my mum’s braised Teochew pork and Tetsuya’s yakiniku rice. I would wash it all down with warm bird’s-nest with freshly squeezed coconut milk from my godma Melina Yong.
Who would you like to bring to the Prestige Ball?
Daenerys Targaryen, mother of dragons from Game of Thrones. Of course, her dragons have to come along.
Someone appears in the same gown as you. What do you do?
Laugh it off and take a fun shot together!
What have your sons taught you?
I can love more than I ever realise.
Craziest thing you’ve done for them?
I am scared of heights but I went rock climbing with the boys and managed to remain calm and collected.
