Style / ambiance: Magique opened its doors in August 2007 and has since been voted the restaurant with the best ambience in India by India Today.
It has gained rave reviews from food critics and fashion magazines across the world, including Elle and Time Out. Essentially an alfresco dining environment, the restaurant is set in the beautiful Garden of Five Senses and really comes to life at night with hundreds of flickering candles and the sounds of water – it is also a great spot for sunny lunches and brunches in the balmy Delhi winter sun. Magique is the brainchild of celebrity chef Marut Sikka – who has fed President Barack Obama and President Bill Clinton among other high profile figures – and the menu boasts grand cocktails, fine wines and nouvelle and international cuisines. The chef has also authored two books, the major parts of which focus on the best of Indian food.
