My first week of holidays has started with a fantastic weekend in Saint Tropez. The style à la Tropezienne has always inspired the summer fashion and often we try to copy this style even once we are back in the cities. But what is the Saint Tropez style?
The key items: short dress in lace, possibly white, a classic mariniere t shirt with stripes, a pair of cropped pants, wide or skinny, simple sandals and a straw bag. As you know the bags have always been my favourite accessory.
Once in Saint Tropez I couldn’t then miss the inauguration cocktail of the MAPAI boutique which is the real center of Saint Tropez. Mapai creates some very special straw bags with some silver and golden interchangeable accessories and many models that will make you fall in love with. From the model in straw, perfect for a stroll in the afternoon in the tiny Saint Tropez streets, to the more elegant pieces which you would love to use once you are back in town after the holidays.
Here at MAPAI everything is chic. Even Pamela Anderson knows it and she has recently been caught by the photographers walking in the center of Saint Tropez with a MAPAI bag. Mapai bags are not just elegant and chic they are born by a eco friendly project and they are crafted with love in Philippines choosing material which respect the nature (the straw) and refined in Milan ( interior in cork and details), and which are biodegradable (you can find more on the concept on the Mapai website.
Strolling in the tiny streets raising the village with the Mapai bag I felt for a moment as in a movie of Brigitte Bardot.
In any case you don’t need to be in Saint Tropez to have the Tropezienne style. You just need to copy the look. Now you can choose a d buy directly the map bag from this on line shop, CLICK HERE.
