Following on from the launch of its 45th anniversary M’ETAVERSE collection, luxury house MCM has unveiled its first 3D printed e-bike in collaboration with German bike manufacturer URWAHN. The luxury e-bike—a category expansion for MCM—is an exclusive rendition of URWAHN’s Platzhirsch frame, which is known for combining high-performance electrical engineering with the freedom of pedal power.

Designed, developed, and produced in Germany, the MCM x URWAHN bike features a fully coppered, 3D-printed frame detailed with MCM’s iconic Vistetos monogram in black oralite. The MCM logo also appears on the bike’s brass front plate, grips, and custom rims.

With roots in travel and technology, the e-bike is a fitting release that speaks to MCM’s vision of the future of urban mobility. Teaming up with URWAHN makes sense, as the two German brands connect over their mutual focus on functionality, innovation, and aesthetic design, with both aiming to revolutionize classic designs with futuristic materials.

The custom e-bike is featured in MCM’s M’ETAVERSE campaign, which stars hip-hop artist A$AP Nast alongside models and digital creators Stella Lucian and Kiddy Akita, all styled in full looks from the collection.

With only 50 units worldwide, the e-bike is a strictly limited release. Ten bikes are currently on show at MCM’s flagship stores, while the remaining 40 will be online exclusives, made to order starting October 1. Included with every bike is an exclusive matching stainless steel water bottle developed in collaboration with 24Bottles.
