The nominees in the category of Outstanding Service included: Blue Hill (New York City); Quince (San Francisco); Topolobampo (Chicago) and Vetri (Philadelphia). This was The Restaurant’s second Outstanding Service nomination and its first win. Chef Christopher Kostow was recognized in 2013 when he won the Best Chef: West award.
The “Outstanding Service” honor is awarded to the restaurant that demonstrates high standards of hospitality and service. (It also must have been in operation for at least five years.)
