Mike and Lauren Sorrentino Want to ‘Make Babies As Soon As They Can’ After Prison Release

They say distance makes the heart grow fonder, and it certainly did with Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and his wife, Lauren Sorrentino. After the Jersey Shore star was released from jail in September, he has been enjoying every moment with his friends, family and wife. “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger,” the 37-year-old told Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi on her podcast, “It’s Happening With Snooki & Joey,” on Thursday, October 10, about his marriage. “Our relationship has never been stronger. We are savoring every conservation, every meal and you know, trying to work on making babies as soon as we can.”

The New York native continued to gush about how happy he was to be reunited with the blonde beauty, 34, after he left prison. “When I first got home, all I wanted to do was spend time with my beautiful wife,” he said. “I wanted to have a naked pizza party, and I wanted to watch movies. I wanted to watch Avengers, I wanted to watch Game of Thrones. I had to catch up on all of that TV. I wanted to snuggle with my dog.”

Additionally, Mike revealed the first thing he did when he got home — he had sex with Lauren, of course! Don’t worry, the MTV personality also ran other errands as well. “I went to my barber, got a manicure and pedicure, got a vampire facial,” he dished. “I got an eyebrow wax, a nose wax. It was great. I felt amazing. When you lose your freedom and you gain it back, it’s like Christmas all over again.”

Meanwhile, Lauren touched upon what she did while her hubby was away for a lengthy period of time. “I just stayed busy. I did the YouTube channel, I hosted a makeup class,” she said. “It was so awesome. I just stayed really busy working out. I just tried to stay focused and healthy and bettering myself. I knew how hard he was working in there.”

Mike was released on September 12 after he served an eight-month prison sentence for tax evasion at Otisville Correctional Institution in New York. Despite being away from loved ones, it seems like the reality star is thankful for his time behind bars. “When I came out, I came out better,” he said. “I guess you can say thank God for that prison. I lost 40 pounds and still on a great path and you know, living my best life.”
