Back for its third installment, Moncler Genius has announced the brands that they will be collaborating with this coming year. Joining the likes of previous brands like Craig Green, Matthew Williams of 1017 ALYX 9SM, Fragment Hiroshi Fujiwara and Simone Rocha are JW Anderson, RIMOWA and Mate.bike. JW Anderson was chosen for his “unique design aesthetic that offers a modern interpretation of masculinity and femininity.” With RIMOWA, the collection will be dubbed Moncler RIMOWA “Reflection,” but the information on the collaboration at this point is still vague. Remo Ruffini, CEO of Moncler stated, “I want to make something that’s in the hands of my customers and give the possibility to them to build content and to talk to people around them.” He emphasised that he wanted to make the collaboration a surprise and push to make innovations and technology to new levels. By collaborating with electric bike company Mate.Bike, it will allow Moncler Genius to diversify their travel accessories. The goal is to reinterpret “the ordinary through the extraordinary and to inspire emotions in both the city, and the mountain.”
Stay tuned for more information on the upcoming Moncler Genius capsules with JW Anderson, RIMOWA and MATE.BIKE.
