Moncler is the luxury European label known for its technically exceptional range of down jackets and coats that are built to keep you cosy, even in the coldest climates. Style is, however, not an afterthought at this iconic brand, with creative director Remo Ruffini imparting an easy and cool appeal to every piece that comes off the line.
And now the inimitable maison has opened the doors to its flagship store on Canton Road. We moseyed on down to the sparkling new digs to see what the label is offering in its biggest, brightest Hong Kong space. The verdict? It’s sleek, sophisticated and filled to the roof with all sorts of cold-weather goodies. Unfortunately, the army of ‘Mr. Moncler’ figurines that were taking up every bit of free space – the result of a collaboration between the brand and talented street artist Craig ‘Krink’ Costello – aren’t permanent additions, as much as we’d hoped they might be.
This Hong Kong store will be home to all the brand’s pret-a-porter collections and accessories, including Moncler Grenoble, Moncler Gamme Bleu, Moncler Gamme Rouge, Moncler Enfant and Moncler Lunettes.
