For the PFW I chose a total look by Courreges. Maybe because at this stage of my life I feel very forward-looking.
And today I can also take the chance to tell you about a fashion designer which is very important for me, Andre Courrèges.
Thanks to him, in the mid-70s there were the first experiments of new materials in clothing and women have begun to express their desire to be free and uninhibited. These are the years of Star Trek, one of the masterpieces of cinema, which Courreges has got inspired by in its expression of the concepts of future and freedom. And so freedom to the the geometric cuts, new shapes and innovative materials (besides Andre it was actually an engineer).
In all this geometry, eccentricity and contagious futuristic ma,dness Courrèges has never forgotten the women, their forms, their desires. And that’s why, even though you may think the opposite, these dresses, these short cuts and creative details actually enhance the beauty of women (although in a completely futuristic and modern vision).
And here you go the first outfit of this fashion week.
