For a contemporary twist on Chinese food, Mott 32 Las Vegas is a fantastic option. Located inside The Venetian Resort, Mott 32 serves incredible dim sum, indulgent Peking duck and many authentic Chinese dishes prepared in style. Because this is Vegas, you can expect some Vegas-themed decor, including a dining table made from a vintage roulette wheel, chandelier with feathers and a hint of New York industrialism. Joyce Wang was responsible for the amazing, rustic design; it was inspired by a convenience store on 32 Mott Street in New York and combines this urban feel with a Chinese aesthetic, while giving a nod to its location of Las Vegas through whimsical decor. The ethos of the restaurant is focused on farm-to-table cooking with Cantonese, Szechuan and Beijing flavors and cultural cooking techniques. Barbecue is also popular here, and the Crispy Roasted Pork Belly is one of the most popular dishes on the menu. There are an array of noodle and rice dishes, meat and poultry dishes, seafood (raw and dried) and vegetarian items. The desserts are mouthwatering and made with traditional ingredients. In addition to a wonderfully curated menu, Mott 32 has incredible cocktails that also make it a popular happy hour spot. We recommend the cocktail It’s Five O’Clock in Hong Kong, made with vodka, rose liqueur, lemon, orange sherbert, strawberry jam and orange bitters, or the Forbidden Rose made with pisco, passion fruit, lychee, chili, lemon, flowers and egg whites. Every drink tells its own story.
