We all have one life to make all dreams come true and it calls for that passion and dedication that becomes the driving force to achieve them. For Abhishek Chaturvedi, a software engineer cum model, and actor, it had been about pushing his passion and beating all hurdles and look at himself with pride. In a quick chat with TMM, he talks about his roller-coaster professional journey and his upcoming projects in the world of entertainment.
From being a software engineer to a model to a photographer, you have come a long way. What keeps you moving in life?
I think versatility is the most amazing thing I have and I thank God for that. I went on exploring things and just question myself whether this is possible for me or not and most of the time the answer is yes and there it goes. There is one thing which always helps me throughout the journey of success is my inner desire, to achieve any goal in life.
What is your biggest learning in life with so many twists and turns as a professional?
Confidence is the one thing which I wear every morning. It actually helps me in facing tough challenges of the day with a smile in my face. Nowadays, I felt a lot of change in way of presentation of the album. People get their eyes, where they find stories where they can connect it from real life. So I changed myself accordingly and did lots of improvisation as per requirements, learned a lot and moving on.
You are now working as an actor for the music album too. Tell us about the project and how it feels to be in front of the camera after so long?
In my latest album, “Tera Nasha” by the amazing singer “Shreya Jain”, the team contacted me and explained my role in the album. It was quite challenging as I’ve to play the character with both the lovely ladies. So, it was tough and interesting. I also did a video song with Ravi Katre “Yaad na aaya karo”, which is now available on 22 song stations. He is a blissful singer. Further, I am working with well-known youtubers and projects are still under construction. Hopefully, my new album will get released by January 2021.
You are a fitness freak too. Tell us about your fitness routine and secrets.
First thing I set my goal; accordingly I set my meal plan and routine. As a software engineer I also work 9-10 hours a day, so I plan my routine in advance and then the main part is to “be consistent” with that routine and for that, I’ve to be disciplined to achieve that goal.
Out of all the professions, which one excites you the most and why?
Believe me; all of them were very challenging to achieve that. But TBH, I don’t want to categories my goals/profession in any priorities. I’ve pursued my goals with full dedication. If I want to do something I give my 100% to achieve that. To complete any goal, we just have to be disciplined and committed to it. We’ve just one life, and I want to live it to the fullest the way I can. I’ve been to 16 countries till date. I saw so many different traditions, cultures, languages. Still, there is a lot to cover as I want to utilize this life by exploring the world more. And for the last 4 years, I started helping people in any way I can. The beautiful feeling in the world is when I get the blessings from those people in return.
What are your future plans and is there anything else that you wish to try and make a career in?
Just ready to buckle up as nothing is hard beyond you and nothing is far from you. As I told you, I was obstructed in a lot of places but thanks to my learning and my hunger to get it done I reached here. I always believe in god and yes he has always something special for you if you give your 100%.
