What We’re Saying: Hot on the heels of his new album release, Tyler, the Creator will soon be delivering his latest footwear collaboration, as the artist’s GOLF le FLEUR* imprint is back alongside Converse for another Chuck 70 launch. Here, we find the classic silhouette showcased in a signature GOLF le FLEUR* look featuring flames over top a neutral base.
The “Yellow Flame” GOLF le FLEUR* x Converse Chuck 70 features a cream-colored upper constructed from lightweight canvas, with pink and purple flames heating things up all throughout. Additional hits of pink emerge via the foxing stripes and branding label on the heels to bring added color to the pair. To further brand the shoe, we then see the signature Converse All Star patch on the medial side, as well as co-branding on the insole. The overall design is made complete with tonal laces.
News of the forthcoming GOLF le FLEUR* Chucks arrives as we have officially entered a new era of Tyler, the Creator ‘fits. Will this translate to never-before-seen sneaker designs? Only time will tell. For now, however, you can look forward to the “Yellow Flame” Chuck 70 arriving on July 9 through Converse.com and (likely) select retailers.
