British chef-owner Simon Rogan of Michelin-starred restaurant Roganic presents “Simon Rogan at home” — a new delivery initiative that takes online orders for a 3-course meal to deliver top restaurant quality food direct to your door. The meals comes with reheating instructions and a video to get the best Roganic experience possible with Soda bread and whipped brown butter; Pea soup with pike perch and pea salad; Local Three Yellow Chicken, sweetcorn and maitake mushroom; and Caramelised white chocolate pudding, strawberry and toasted hay custard.

The recently opened modern Vietnamese restaurant by chef John Nguyen is now accepting takeaway orders and offer buil-your-own pho based on prime rib, beef or chicken, with items such as roasted beef bone marrow, egg, chicken heart, liver, or crispy skin to enhance the bowl, as well as larger plates for sharing including Cơm Gà Hoi An Chicken rice.

One of Hong Kong’s latest openings this year was Yakinikumafia, which presented satisfying yakiniku in a modern environment. The restaurant are offering two new options for delivery and takeaway which include the Grilled yakiniku bento and comforting Keema curry bento. This can be paired with handcrafted Wagyumafia Yuzu IPA or a Sansho Lager for the full experience. Delivery fees apply.

Our neighbourhood tapas bar 22 Ships had only just returned and we were all very excited to go back. However if that’s not currently possible, then the delivery or takeaway options are definitely worth trying. The new sets, named 22 Ships en tu casa, is made for four or six people and includes a whole host of tapas to be shared with friends and family in the comfort (and safety) of your own home. Highlights include the Tortilla with fava beans and sobrasada; Grilled octopus with mojo picon and potato foa; and Burnt basque cheesecake. A selection of Spanish wines are also available to takeaway.

Two-Michelin-starred French restaurant Écriture are offering takeaway for the very first time with their new “Écriture a la Maison” initiative. The options include four different tasting menus made for sharing between two or four people. For the simplified and easy Caligraphy set, to the more extravagant Library of Flavours menu that includes the favourite Caviar & Uni Tart.

With Sushi Shikon still running its lunch service, I would strongly recommend to dine in to fully enjoy the experience. However, for those that can’t or do not wish to, the pick up option of the Futomaki is a welcome alternative. The long sushi roll is tightly packed with refined ingredients that would usually be served at the counter by Kaki-san. Each order of the roll is placed is a gift box and stylish carry bag.
The Eaton’s Michelin-starred Cantonese restaurant Yat Tung Heen is offering their roast meats and claypot dishes for takeaway. Signature items such as the Honey-glazed barbecued pork and Steamed rice with pan fried chicken and mandarin peel are worthy dinner components, while claypot dishes will take the spotlight and come in their own clay pot to use again at a later date. For larger dishes to share, the restaurant is also introducing a Mini poon choi, filled with seafood and barbecued meat.
