Just when you thought Los Cabos in Mexico’s selection of hotels couldn’t get any better, Nobu Hotel Los Cabos moves in. This April, the hotel, part of Nobu Hotels from famed chef Nobu Matsuhisa and actor Robert De Niro, is a beachfront resort that recently opened at the southernmost tip of the Baja Peninsula offering spectacular views over the azure water.
With the same Japanese-inspired minimalistic design of other Nobu Hotels, Nobu Hotel Los Cabos also features traditional Mexican materials, such as natural wood and artisanal decor that is locally sourced. A serene color palette of neural hues paired with the vibrant flora of Los Cabos makes for a serene stay in one of Mexico’s most happening destinations.
The hotel has 200 rooms and suites, an infinity pool with beach access, a spa (don’t miss the Natura Bissé products and Asian-inspired treatments) and a Nobu Restaurant and Bar (the third in Mexico) overlooking the ocean. The hotel will also house a Malibu Farm, featuring an organic farm-to-table menu, a Beach Bar & Grill and a Pool Bar & Grill.
We suggest booking the Nobu Suite, a three-bedroom presidential suite with a stone fireplace, chef’s kitchen, game area including a pool table and a bedroom facing the ocean with access to a private terrace. The suite can host up to three guests and clocks in at 3,142 sq ft.
