With the first drop of Spring/Summer 2022, Norse Projects injects a healthy dose of nautical color into its functional lines, bringing balance to seasonal dress.

An acute understanding of weather systems and appropriately combating them through dress is a staple of Scandinavian fashion. From Norway’s deep, dark days and bitter colds to the highs of a Danish summer, the subregion’s brands have continually demonstrated how to successfully balance the seasons.

Norse Projects is one such expert in the field. Having successfully navigated Fall/Winter 2021 with the assistance of Polartec fleeces in the “Tab Series,” it now turns its sights to Spring/Summer 2022, and with it, injects its functional, research-led wardrobe with a depth of color inspired by the Baltic Sea.

SS22 is, in essence, solution-based due to the brand’s meticulous research into heritage nautical clothing built to tackle the challenges of harsh seas. As a result, the collection is steeped in performance fabrics, including Solotex pants, jackets, and vests, alongside Pertex windbreakers, puffers, and bags.

Drop 1 is heavy on utilitarian detailing without drowning the minimalist design ethos of Norse Projects, highlighted by a palette of orange, green, brown, and black. A particular standout is the Pertex hooded windbreaker, which features a packable design, multiple pockets, and a DWR finish that sheds light, rain, and snow.

Norse Project’s first drop of Spring/Summer 2022 is available to shop online now.
