October at the Mounts Botanical Garden in West Palm Beach is a feast for the eyes: frijolillo, golden rain tree, roselle, and white bird-of-paradise will be in full bloom this month. Mounts opened back up in June, but fall’s milder temps set the scene for a languid tour across 14 acres. Visitors can even bring their four-legged friends on Dogs’ Day October 25 to enjoy the peaceful surrounds. For those who aren’t quite ready to venture out, Mounts offers bountiful virtual programming via a Garden Highlights web page and the organization’s YouTube channel.
