I am very excited to announce that Olay asked my mother and I to be in an advertisement for their newest product line, Fresh Effects. Olay chose to feature us in the advertisement, running in the June 2013 issue of Glamour Magazine, because they wanted us to share “beauty secrets” that have been passed down from generation to generation. Our secret, of course, was we both never go a day without moisturizing with Olay.
The experience of shooting the ad campaign was a lot of fun. We flew to New York to meet the team, who interviewed us about our beauty tips/secrets, and then shot the photographs that were going to be used in the ad. I loved being able to work with my mom on something fun and out of our daily routine — and I know she loved being back in front of the camera (she modeled from ages 18-30!)
The Olay Fresh Effects ad is featured in the June issue of Glamour Magazine, which is on newsstands now (and shown here.) I will also post some fun behind-the-scenes shots of the photo shoot, which took place at the beautiful Milk Studios penthouse in the Meatpacking District of New York City. We’re so happy have collaborated with Olay and Glamour Magazine, and thankful that they chose to feature us, and our brand, Caviar & Cashmere.
