Orion Entertainment is looking for Americans moving abroad…specifically those who are moving to foreign towns and/or cities where “living in a grass hut is within the new realm of possibility and acquiring groceries is a little more involved than hopping in a car to the neighborhood supermarket,” according to a press release.
If you’re an American couple or family who is in the process of relocating to an international destination, either for work or personal preference, Orion Entertainment wants to hear from you. According to the press release, destinations of interest are places where “nothing can be taken for granted: shelter, food, power, dealing with animal pests and other local hazards indigenous to the local culture (Mongolia, central Africa, Amazon jungle, Indonesia, etc.)”.
Orion Entertainment is a full-service television production and marketing solutions company specializing in television programming suitable for cable, broadcast, broadband, and video. According to the company’s website, it is the largest independent producer of the highest rated proprietary shows and retains that leadership position through an industry best business model that combines a unique combination of best-in-class creative and production services.
The new show intends to capture every moment of your move…from packing the bags, the house, and the kids to landing and living in the new international destination. Unique to other programs, the show will also focus on how the individuals acclimate to the cultures they are immersing themselves into, from obtaining visas to finding a school for their kids in the new country.
If you’re in the process of relocating internationally to a place that’s “way off the beaten path” and you want to share your experience of moving abroad, fill out a casting application HERE.
