Philanthropic endeavors: I support Florida Atlantic University Foundation, Jewish Adoption and Family Care Options, Rotary Club of Boca Raton, Ruth & Norman Rales Jewish Family Services, Boca West Foundation, Temple Beth El, and Alzheimer’s Association. Greatest accomplishment: Serving so many charities that have helped to find treatments for diseases like ALS, muscular dystrophy, and diabetes. Veterans affairs: At 25, I started a military officer placement service that allowed me to travel to military bases in the Southeast to place veterans in jobs with major corporations. They had great ambition, and I have always enjoyed helping guide people into careers and new directions. Next goal: To serve on the advisory board at FAU’s College of Arts and Letters as well as the Boca West Foundation board. Role model: My daughter, Amy. She has devoted her adult life to helping others and to enhancing the quality of their lives through acts of kindness for the ill and needy. She is gentle and very strong and makes me want to emulate her good deeds. Dream dinner guest: George Clooney Signature drink: Chocolate martini Bucket list trip: Australia and New Zealand Palm Beach County haunts: Café Boulud and Kathy’s Gazebo Café Stress reliever: Laughing during Seinfeld. I know almost every line of every episode. Her definition of beauty: Beauty is defined by behavior, smile, and graciousness.
