Patta is responsible for some of the most coveted Air Max 1s in history, having released multiple iterations of the iconic silhouette over the years. The Dutch imprint will soon be adding to its catalogue of celebrated Nike collaborations with a new take on the Tinker Hatfield-designed shoe that recently surfaced in what is being called the “Noise Aqua” colorway.
Courtesy of insider @ryivibes, our first look at the forthcoming Patta x Nike Air Max 1 previews a brand new mudguard shape that as the headline states, is wavy, baby. The sneaker then incorporates a mini Swoosh on the toe bumper of the lateral side, in addition to the customary larger Swoosh. From the teaser, we also see that the tongue is adorned with Patta branding to properly signal the collab.
In terms of materials, the “Noise Aqua” Air Max 1 features a mesh base with white leather overlays, a look that is all too familiar on the silhouette. Visible Max Air tooling is of course implemented in the heel, as the overall design closely mimics the typical Air Max 1 build, save for the aforementioned wavy mudguard.
This clear look at the pair comes as an orange version boasting the same mudguard design previously made its rounds online. At the time of writing, however, neither Patta nor Nike have announced the colorways, so expect to hear more on the collaboration in the days and weeks to come.
